Our Gala Co-Chairs!
The Whole Person would like to thank Morgan Perry and Carey Welsch who are co-chairing our 2018 It's Magic! - Night of Independence Gala! Morgan and Carey are longtime community supporters of our mission and we are excited to have them serve in this role. Their influence and talent will add extra magic to the Gala this year.
Morgan Amick Perry has been working with, and for, Kansas City nonprofits for nearly 20 years; including Children's Mercy Hospital, PKD Foundation, Hillcrest Transitional Housing, and The Whole Person. She has a passion for connecting people with the resources they need to live their best lives. Morgan lives in Parkville, Missouri with her husband Michael and their children, Greyson, age 9 and Amelia, age 6. She is thrilled to be co-chairing TWP's 2018 Night of Independence Gala.
Carey Welsch is often described as a “connector.” Inspired by bringing people and resources together, she welcomes the opportunity to serve as Co-chair for the It’s Magic - 2018 Night of Independence Gala Committee. Having supported The Whole Person in different capacities over the last few years, Carey was honored to accept this new role. She provides a different perspective from her work with other non-profits such as The Harvest Ball Society, Assistance League of Kansas City, and Patriot Outreach. Carey is the mother of Margaret, age 8 and Cecilia age 6. She lives in Weatherby Lake, Missouri, yet grew up in Leawood, Kansas, calling both sides of the river “home.”
